Jaiku.com

Google has gone shopping….again!  Jaiku which is a “activity stream and presence sharing service on the web and mobile”  has been acquired by Google for an undisclosed amount. The official announcement of Jaiku can be seen here.

Now, to be frank i had just heard of jaiku and wasnt a registered user and was interested in joining it and hence had gone to the site and instead found this announcement of the homepage of jaiku. The conditions of the deal are “confidential” according to the post on Jaiku.

So, lets just hope that Google brings in great changes to Jaiku and open it to common public soon because currently registrations are closed. So, here is wishing all the best for both of them; especially Jaiku.
